The Greenbelt Concert Band welcomes adult musicians to become playing members!

How to Join

  1. Attend a rehearsal to sit in and experience the group.
  2. Meet the conductor and members — introduce yourself and your instrument.
  3. If you’re interested in joining, connect with the Personnel Manager at rehearsal.
  4. Complete the online Google Form.
  5. Watch for your email invitation to join the band’s Google Group (check your Spam folder).
    • Once you’re added to the group, you’ll receive band communications and be considered a member.

We currently have needs in several sections — especially:
Clarinet • Saxophone • Trumpet • Baritone • Tuba • Percussion
(All instruments are welcome!)

High School Music Program Partnership with GCB

Are you a *high school musician looking for a fun, supportive way to perform with a community band? 

Join the Greenbelt Concert Band (GCB)!

Two Ways to Participate:

1. One-Concert Experience

  • Rehearse for just one concert—no long-term commitment
  • Perform with experienced musicians in a welcoming environment

2. Featured Guest Performance

  • Perform as a soloist, small ensemble, or school group
  • Rehearse with the band leading up to the concert

Why Join?

  • Gain real performance experience
  • Meet and play alongside other musicians
  • Be part of a vibrant, community-based music program
  • Try it once—and come back if you love it!

*Concert band music levels above Grade 3 welcome!

The Greenbelt Concert Band is a friendly, volunteer community ensemble that values musical growth, collaboration, and the joy of making music together.
Rehearsals: Mondays, 7–9 PM (September–June)

Not a Musician?

Become a Band Aide! Help with concert setup, greeting audiences, creating flyers, programs, and taking photos and videos.
Great opportunity for student service hours.
